2026 Giving Round
Stay tuned for the results from our inaugural giving round!
How the giving round works
The Purpose Loop
1. Funds were pooled
Members sign up to the giving circle. Together, we built collective giving power and create a shared fund of $15,000 for impact.
2. Nominating
Members were invited to suggest organisations that aligned with our giving focus areas. Organisations were also able to submit themselves via a brief EOI form.
3. Shortlisting
Organisations were reviewed by a volunteer committee. Alignment with our giving principles and other due diligence was taken care of behind the scenes, ending up in a shortlist.
4. Community voting
Between 1-15 June, members voted on a shortlist of three organisations for each pillar, collectively deciding where our pooled money will go.
5. Giving
We will announce the selected organisation(s) and distribute the grant(s) by 30 June each year.
6. Repeat
We will reflect on what we’ve learned, share the impact created from the grants and begin the next giving cycle together.

The volunteer committee (Elyse Cook, Pauline Ducas, Bella Conyngham, and Mike Davis) reviewed all nominations and researched each of the organisations to assess alignment against our giving areas and core giving principles (see here).
We have intentionally avoided application processes and burdensome reporting requirements. Instead, putting the onus on us to so our ‘homework’ and due diligence on all organisations nominated.
